Effective October 1st, 2004, John Carmody joined ADVANTAGE GROUP, LLC as Executive Director.
After a 35 year career, John retired from Safeco Corporation in December, 2002 as AVP Corporate Marketing and Communications. During his many years with Safeco he served in a number of field and home office positions in property and casualty marketing and general management assignments. Most recently John was responsible for Distributor Automation, the electronic interface with agents and brokers, for Safeco Corporation. In this role he also served as the liaison with various insurance industry organizations such as ACORD, agent user groups and the IIABA Agents Council for Technology. Prior to the corporate assignment he was responsible for Commercial Sales with Safeco's P&C companies.
